- The object of the assignment is the appointment of a recognized soil remediation expert type 2 for the Louis de Naeyerkaai file in Klein-Willebroek. The plots owned by De Vlaamse Waterweg NV are mainly located outside the dikes on the left bank of the Rupel, just upwards theVillage center of Klein-Willebroek. The site has an industrial past (including shipyards) and is contaminated with a complex cocktail from parameters, including asbestos (free fibers, hazardous waste), heavy metals, suit and pfas in the fixed part of the earth and arsenic and sulfates in thegroundwater. This started in 2020. At the end of 2022 a first versionsubmitted to OVAM, but not declared in accordance with. Further research was carried out on the basis of OVAM's comments. The OBBO is currently completed but not yet submitted to OVAM.
