Quotation are invited for Blanket Insulation (Non-Asbestos) Thermal Blanket. BLANKET,INSULATION, NON-ASBESTOS SPECIFICATION FOR “THERMAL BLANKET FOR HOT WORK” 1.0 Brief Description Thermal blanket for use at Oil & Gas Industries to protect the workers and environment from heat and flame caused during hot works like welding, cutting and grinding. 1.1 Application 1.1.1 Heat shield 1.1.2 Thermal / Flame barrier 1.1.3 For use in welding booth as welding curtain (protection from weld slags and sparks) 2.0 Physical Requirements 2.1 Fiberglass or Silica or equivalent material - Metal free & Asbestos free (meeting all specification requirements). 2.2 Flexible & easy to roll for storage. 2.3 High mechanical strength 2.4 Weight: 1200 gm/m2 or more. 2.5 Minimum thickness: 1.2 mm 2.6 Size: 1 meter x 25 meter approximately. 3.0 Performance Requirements 3.1. Withstand temperatures up to 1800°F (982°C) or more. 3.2. Other requirements as per international standard. 4.0 Test Requirements 4.1. Third party certified to ASTM D6413 /D6413 M-15 - Standard Test Method for Flame Resistance of Textiles (Vertical Test). 4.2.
