Procurement Plan for Construction and Completion of Maintenance of a Road Linking the Existing Section of the Seventh Ring Road with the Southern Section of the Regional Road. Developing roads and raising the absorptive capacity in line with the urban development and increasing the population density in line with the structural plan of the State of Kuwait and serving the areas surrounding the project. - Improving the level of security and safety for road users. - Reducing traffic jams as a result of the movement of high trucks in industrial areas and service areas such as Kebd, Al-Shaqaya area and Al-Shaddiyah Industrial Area, which are areas with high truck traffic. - Achieving the flow of traffic. Regional roads with international specifications. scope of works: The project links the intersection of Fahaheel Road with the Seventh Ring Road and the Salmi border road. This project is considered one of the most important parts of the regional road within the state's plan to implement the regional border road (Phase II). The length of the road is about 34.6 km. The main elements of the project include the following: - - Developing approximately 34.6 km of shallow roads with (6) lanes (3) in each direction. - Construction of (5) free intersections. - Construction of two intersections with railway lines. - - Establishment of parking spaces for trucks. - Create spending to cross camels. -Establishment of public transport bus stops. -Works of rainwater drainage networks and infrastructure networks.
