- In continuation of the bicycle master plan adopted in 2023 by Dijon Metropole of the pedestrian master plan under development, the appeasement of the districts of Dijon Metropole appears to be an important lever to promote more the use of active mobility. This appeasement aims to limitTransit flows and the use of shunt roads that has continued to increase in recent years. Indeed, there is a significant drop in motorized traffic on the main road axes, except for crossing urban cuts (railways in particular) where no routealternative is possible. The reduction of transit flows and the decrease in speed is part of an essential component of this project in order to redistribute public space to the inhabitants through urban developments thus creating a more user -friendly, safe anddurable
