Tender are invited for Project # SFHWY00612 The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is proposing to make improvements to the Wrangell Ferry Terminal. The proposed project would: • Complete replacement of the sidewalk, curb, and gutter within the facility property• Reconstruction of existing curb ramps to current standards and construction of new ramps to improve pedestrian access• Replacement of one existing catch basin and culvert with a slope drain• Reconstruction of all other existing drainage inlets, catch basins, and culverts• Repave portions of the existing parking lot to restore adequate drainage and to eliminate pedestrian safety hazards• Replacement of vehicle guard railThe project may be partially located in the coastal flood zone (V5). Any encroachments are anticipated to be minor, with no net changes to the base flood elevation, thus they would not result in significant encroachments.
