Quotation are invited for Extinguisher, Fire, Cylinder, Dry Powder. EXTINGUISHER,FIRE, CYLINDER, DRY POWDER, As per BS EN 3, Class B, C, CARBON STEEL, -20 TO + 60 DEG.C, RED, STANDARD WEIGHT, 18 SEC, 26 BAR, Standard, 190 MM, 600 MM, 7 M, 9 KG, 9 KG. SPECIFICATION OF 9 KGS (MONNEX) DRY POWDER FIRE EXTINGUISHER WITH STEEL CABINET The extinguisher shall be made to the following characteristics:- 1. Cylinder : To be made of carbon steel to BS EN 10025 FE430A 2. Paint Finish : According to BSEN3 3. Paint : Signal Red (RAL 3000) 4. Extinguisher Identification Color Label: French Blue 5. Capacity : 9 Kgs Monnex dry chemical. However, the fire extinguisher shall be supplied empty. 6. Working Temp. Range: - 20ºC to +60ºC 7. Test pressure : 26 (Bar) 8. Cylinder finish : Thermoplastic to BS 4800:2011 (Latest Edition), signal Red (RAL 3000) 9. Working Pressure at 20ºC: 12 Bar 10. Height : 600 mm 11. Width : 190 mm 12. Depth : standard size 13. Empty Weight : 5.9 Kg. 14. Full Weight : 15.5 Kg. 15. Discharge Time: 18 Sec. 16. Max. Discharge Range: 7 meters 17. Operating Valve: Diecast zinc alloy to EN 1774-Zn A14 (ZL3) 18. Hose : A short flexible discharge hose complete with squeeze grip nozzle 19. Nozzle : Aluminum alloy to BS 1559 (Latest Edition) with open/shut lever Control. 20. The fire extinguisher is to be designed and constructed fully in accordance with British Standard and approved by International Standards. NOTE: 1. Fire Extinguisher shall be fully comply with the performance requirements BS EN 3 (latest edition) and approved by B.A.F.E./L.P.C./D.O.T/BSEN3. Copy of approval /test Certificate to be submitted with the offer. 2. Hydrotest test certificate of Cylinder Required along with the delivery. 3. Date of manufacturing of the extinguisher shall not be more than 12 (TWELVE) months from the date of Delivery 4.
