Quotation are invited for Flashlight, Light, Handheld, Rechargeable. FLASHLIGHT, LIGHT, HANDHELD, RECHARGEABLE SPECIFICATION FOR SAFETY TORCH 1.Brief Description Rechargeable Right Angle or Straight Safety Torch for use in Oil and gas fields 2.Testing & Certification ATEX and IECEx certified for safe use in Zones 0, 1 & 2 potentially explosive gas and dust atmosphere; Safety Certified Class I, Division I / IECEx is (intrinsic safety). Test certificate in English language given by internationally accredited third party certifying agency shall be submitted along with the sample. 3. Material & Design Features 3.1 Enclosure: Impact Resistant Thermoplastic, Chemical Resistant, Static Dissipative 3.2 Toughened Glass lens 3.3 Light Source: High Power LED with output above 100 lumens 3.4 Emergency illumination function: Emergency function illuminates the torch if power to the charger is cut to provide standby escape lighting 3.5 Power Source: Lithium Rechargeable Battery (with low battery power indicator) 3.6 Light Duration: Minimum 3 hours continuous run 3.7 Ingress Protection: IP57 / IP67 3.8 Weight (including batteries): Not to exceed 500 grams 3.9 Chargers: Capable of charging from 220 — 240 V AC (50 Hz) power supply 3.10 Supplied with wrist strap and clip ring 4.Sample & Catalogue The bidder shall provide a sample of the torch light (on returnable basis) along with the detailed catalogue in English language. 5. Marking The Safety torch shall bear the markings as per the approved Standard. 6. Approved List of Manufacturers code: 651 Issue Date: 14-Dec-2021 Due Date: 10-Jan-2022 Due Time: 13:00 Each offer must be accompanied by an Initial Bank Guarantee in Arabic language equal to KD 250 in favor of the Kuwait Oil Company (K.S.C.) and valid for 90 days validity period of the tender, issued in the form of letter of guarantee by any approved local bank. The Tendered shall duty fill in and complete Attachment B to the Form of Tender. The successful tender shall submit a Performance Letter of Guarantee to the value of 10% of his bid.
