Description:
Quotation are invited for Box, Core, Galvanized Iron, 110 Thk X 1300 Lg X 140 Mm Dp. G.I. Sheet CORE BOXES 1. G.I. sheet boxes with lid & handle for storing “rock core samples” comprise of two (2) different sizes, having trapezoidal shape section with cover on top as shown in Sketch. Label (sketch attached) to be painted/printed on two ends and one side of the box. The box should be able to carry up to 50 kg of rock samples of 5 ¼” or 4” diameter and 4 ft length without bending. 2. Particulars: (Sketch attached) Length : 1300 mm for all types Type-Medium : (150 mm Top - 110 mm Base) x 140 Height 3. Fabrication Galvanized Iron sheet thickness: Minimum 22 gauge ( to carry weight around 50 kg) with necessary stiffeners. All joints should be strong & smooth & edges turned inwards. Lid edge should be turned inwards for proper fit. Proper Handle is required to take weight of the rock upto (50kg). 4. Material Hot dip galvanized sheet to ASTM A 653, Type Z275 or BS EN 10142, coating designation 275. 5. Other Information:  Supplier must submit sample to User within 14 days of purchase order for approval prior to fabricating the full order.  The Label of appropriate size & colour to be painted/ printed on two ends & a side of boxes.  Stopper (02x30 mm) must be fixed at the base of large boxes to stop sliding from pallet. Issue Date: 16-Sep-2021 Due Date: 11-Oct-2021 Due Time: 13:00 RFQ Fee Amount : 25 Bid Bond Amt : 500 Each offer must be An Initial Bank Guarantee in Arabic language equal to KD 500 in favour of the Kuwait Oil Company (K.S.C) and valid for 90 days validity period of the tender, issued in the form of letter of guarantee by any approved local bank. The Tender shall duty fill in and complete Attachment B to the Form of Tender. The successful tender shall submit a Performance Letter of Guarantee to the value of 10% of his bid. The Performance Bond shall be valid for the quoted delivery period plus 12 months. The Performance Bond shall be worded generally in accordance with the specimen annexed to the tender as Annexure A.
