Brief description of the project: The project "Kreativareal Stadtlagerhaus Regensburg" aims at the historic city camp in the Westhafen of Regensburg and the adjacent warehouses in Auweg in a dynamic center for theTo transform culture and creative industries. The conversion of this area is intended to promote the regional creative industries, create innovative work rooms and enable the networking of actors from various industries. The first implementation step is to convert the halls in the Auwegincluding the adjacent open space. The background of this project is based on the city council decision of April 2, 2019, which recognized the need to use the location of the city camp for the cultural and creative industries. The city of Regensburg commissioned theStadtwerk Regensburg GmbH (DSR) in December 2020 with a feasibility study on the transformation of the city camp into a creative area.
