The Studierendenwerk Heidelberg is for the social support and promotion of around 49,000 students at the University of Heidelberg, the pedagogical highChule Heidelberg, the University of Jewish Studies Heidelberg, the Heidelberg University of Applied Sciences, the University of Applied Sciences Schwetzingen, the Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences with the Kuenzelsau and Schwabisch Hall Campus, the Baden-Wuerttemberg Mosbach University of Applied Sciences with the Bad Mergen campusTheim, the Dual University of Baden-Wuerttemberg Heilbronn and the Dual University of Baden-Wuerttemberg Center for Advanced Studies (DHBW CAS). The Schwetzingen University of Applied Sciences has been a member of the Heidelberg Student Office since September 1, 2017.
The Studierendenwerk HeidelBerg is planning to build a new student dormitory in Schwetzingen. The property is located on the northern entrance to the Schwetzingen Oststadt. About 1,800 m2 is available on August-Neuhaus-Strasse for the student dormitory with open spaces.
