The object of this market analysis are ready-to-use reagents for Biochrom 30+ automated amino acid analyzers for detection and quantitative analysis of amino acids in physiological fluids: plasma, urine and cerebrospinal fluid. The amino acid profile allows diagnosis and monitoring of inborn errors of metabolism. The analysis by Biochrom 30+ analyzers is based on a cation exchange chromatography coupled with a detection system using post-column derivatization with ninhydrin reagent. Amino acids are detected by dual channel detection at 570 and 440 nm wavelength. We presently detect and quantitate the following amino acids and derivatives: sulfocysteine, phosphoserine, taurine, phosphoethanolamine, urea, aspartic acid, hydroxyproline, methionine sulfone, threonine, serine, asparagine, glutamic acid, glutamine, sarcosine, cysteine, α-aminoadipic acid, proline, glycine, alanine, citrulline, α-aminobutyric acid, valine, homocysteine, cystine, saccharopine, pipecolic acid, homocitrulline, methionine, cystathionine, alloisoleucine, isoleucine, leucine, arginosuccinic acid, norleucin...
