- The purpose of this RFQ is to solicit qualifications from engineering firms capable of providing comprehensive design services and construction support for a 429-kilometer fiber-optic backbone and last-mile network. This project aims to enhance broadband capacity for 1,582 underserved households inremote Northern Manitoba, including 1,535 Indigenous households, across Wasagamack First Nation, St. Theresa Point, Garden Hill First Nation, Red Sucker Lake, Stevenson Island, and IslandLake.
