• Description:
• Quotation are invited for Supply of Air Conditioner, Mini Split Unit, Wall, 1250 Cfm, 24000 Btu/Hr, Single Phase, 220 - 240 Vac, 50 Hz Supplying, installation , testing and commissioning of Mini split A/C unit. Wall mounted mini split A/C unit: 24000BTU cool/ heat. The A/C unit shall be provided with about 10 Meter pipe (max), insulated with 3/4 inch rubber insulation wrapped with PVC tape to connect indoor and outdoor unit. Out door unit shall be mounted on painted steel stand. Cordless heat / cool remote control required with unit. Power Supply; 220-240 V (plus/minus 6%)/ 50 Hz / single phase The unit shall have power saving features. 1-COMPRESSOR The compressor shall be of the hermetic sealed or rotary type to delivery the required capacity for long, trouble free operation. The compressor shall be mounted on vibration isolator to reduce vibration and noise. Compressor winding shall be fitted with thermal overload and over current protections in addition to other protections recommended by the manufacturer. 2- CONTROL AND SAFETY The Unit Shall be supplied with factory built and tested integral control panels containing all the necessary controls for the safe and efficient operation of unit. 3- CONDENSER The condenser shall be air-cooled of the induced draft type suitable for operation under Kuwait ambient weather conditions. The condenser coil shall consist of battery of copper tubes with mechanically bonded plain smooth plate type copper or aluminum fins. Alternative equivalent coil materials shall be considered. The condenser fan shall be of the axial flow type statically and dynamically balanced for quite operation. The fan shall be provided with solid steel shaft or equivalent, sealed for life lubricated ball bearing and driven by resiliency mounted weather proofed motor with built-in overload protection. 4- INDOOR UNIT The air-conditioning unit shall comprise mainly of a cooling coil, circulating air blower, thermostatic expansion valve or capillary tube, air filters and other required accessories all factory assembled in a suitable decorative casing with front horizontal discharge louvers fitted with an electric air sweep mechanism for better air distribution. The cooling coil shall be a battery of seamless copper tubes with copper or aluminum plates fins mechanism bonded to the tubes. Alternative equivalent coil materials shall be considered. The cooling coil shall be fitted with bottom drain pan with insulation for condensation and two opposite sides drain pipe connections. Air circulating fan(s) shall be of centrifugal type with forward curved multi-vane impellers mounted on a mild steel shaft. The fan(s) shall be directly driven by multi-speed electric motor. Air filter shall be of washable type as per manufacturer's standard 5- RECOMENDED BRANDS / MANUFACTURERS i DAIKTN 2. GENERAL 3. HITACHI 4. CARRIER 5. TOSHIBA 6. TRANE 7. SANYO 8. PANASONIC 6- TESTING, COMMISSIONING AND HANDING OVER Upon completion of the installation of the units, the contractor shall test, commission and hand over the units to the satisfaction of the company representative. 7- WARRANTY The warranty certificate shall be supplied covering a minimum of five (5) years for Compressor and one (1) year for the whole unit. All cost for the replacement of any item under warranty including labor, Consumables and refrigerant gas charging, etc. shall be borne by the supplier. NOTE: Maintenance work of the unit during warranty period shall be with Supplier. Supplier shall resolve all problems reported during warranty period for the smooth functioning of the unit delivering the required BTU at Kuwait's extreme temperature conditions.
