• Quotation are invited for Supply of Detector, Gas, Multi Gas, Light Weight Portable Multi Gas Detector (Lel, o2, h2s & Co). 1. Scope Multi-gas detector is a portable gas detector that is mainly intended for detection of Oxygen, % LEL, H2S & CO when entering into a confined space or any other area where there is a possibility of H2S / CO / Combustible gases, or Oxygen deficiency. 2. Specification Range: H2S: 0-100 ppm; Oxygen: 0-25 % volume ; CO- 0-550ppm; Combustible gases: 0-100% LEL Resolution: CO & H2S 1 ppm or less; O2 0.1% Vol; LEL 1% Dimension: (5inch-6inch) x (3inch-4inch) x (1inch-2inch) approximately Weight: Light weight 300 grams or less Temperature -10o C to +50o C Relative humidity: 10% - 90% RH (non-condensing) Ingress Protection: IP 67 or 66 Battery life: Rechargeable battery with power for 12 hours continuously (minimum) Alarm output: Clearly audible, visual alarm and vibrating alarm (more than 90 decibels); pre-configured Display: Continuous LCD display of the real-time gas concentration and simultaneously displaying the corresponding measurement unit; values shall be clearly read even in the dark. Approvals 3.1 Intrinsically safe per ATEX 2GEEXia II T4 to comply for use in NEC Class-1 Division-1 Group A, B, C & D 3.2 Compliance to EMC directive for EMI / RFI 3.3 Certified for use in hazardous area of classification; Copy of the test certificate from internationally accredited third party agencies to be submitted while submitting the bid 4. Documentation 4.1 Each instrument shall be supplied with the user manual (Instruction / Operating / Maintenance (Servicing) manual) in English language and preferably in Arabic language also. 4.2 In the bidding process, the vendor shall provide a detailed catalogue for each model of personal monitor and if required, need to arrange for a free demonstration 5. General 5.1 Any deviation from or non-compliance with these specifications shall be clearly stated with reasons by the manufacturer when submitting the bid 5.2 Markings shall be provided in the instrument for intrinsically safe, hazardous area classification ratings and also the manufacturer name, date of manufacture, model name 5.3 A sample shall be submitted for each model quoted along with the bid (on returnable basis)
